Happy Valentines Day from all of us at Crossroads Family Ministries! Love is truly worth celebrating, and the greatest love of all is the love God has for us. As 1 John 4:8 reminds us, "God is love." And because He first loved us (1 John 4:19), we can love Him and one another with genuine, overflowing hearts.

This month, we are excited to share a special story from one of our clients. With her permission, she has graciously agreed to open up about how Crossroads impacted her life. Her testimony is a beautiful reminder of Gods faithfulness and the hope He brings in every season.

Here is her story -

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Autumn Longworth, and I would like to share how Crossroads Ministry has shaped both my spiritual journey and my path as a young mother. I am 25 years old now, and I had my son when I was 21. Those early years of motherhood were filled with both joy and uncertainty. I wanted to give my son the best life I could, but there were many days when I felt overwhelmed and unsure of where to turn.

My introduction to Crossroads Ministry happened in an unexpected way. I was shopping in their thrift store, looking for clothes for my son, when Caressa (Thrift 4 Life store manager) approached me. She kindly asked if I had heard about Crossroads Ministry’s Motherhood Program. At that time, I was doing everything I could to take care of my child, but I often felt unsure spiritually and emotionally. Her invitation came at a moment when I truly needed guidance and support.

After joining the program, I met Tammy, the head of Crossroads Ministrys Motherhood Program. Her leadership, compassion, and steady encouragement made a profound impact on me. Tammy did not just organize classes or meetings. She created a space where young mothers like me could grow, heal, and find confidence again. She helped me see potential in myself that I had not recognized, and she walked with me through challenges with patience and understanding.

letter continued -

Through the programs teachings, Bible studies, and the support of both Tammy and the other mentors, I began reconnecting with God in a real and personal way. My faith, which once felt uncertain, became a source of strength. I learned how to lay down my worries instead of carrying them by myself, and I began to trust God with the future He has for me and my son.

One of the greatest gifts Crossroads Ministrys Motherhood Program gave me was community. Being a young mother can feel isolating, but here I found women who understood the pressures, fears, and hopes that come with raising a child. With Tammy guiding the program and Caressa supporting me from the very beginning, I felt surrounded by people who truly cared.

Today, I feel more grounded, confident, and spiritually renewed. I am becoming the mother I longed to be and the woman God is shaping me to become. I am deeply grateful for Crossroads Ministry, for Caressa’s kindness that day in the thrift store, and for Tammy’s unwavering support and leadership throughout this journey.

Sincerely,
Autumn Longworth

Grand Re-Opening

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support we have received over the past few months. The generosity and encouragement have made an extraordinary milestone possible.

In October 2025, we were blessed to purchase our new building at 1827 Main St. in Warsaw, MO. After three months of dedicated remodeling, we joyfully opened our doors on January 6, 2026. The grand opening was a tremendous success—thank you to the Warsaw Area Chamber of Commerce for hosting a wonderful ribbon-cutting ceremony! Our large parking lot was filled to capacity, a beautiful reflection of the communitys excitement and support.

Grand Re-Opening

A huge thank you goes to every individual who helped in any way—whether through financial gifts, donations, prayers, or countless volunteer hours. So many hands worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life, and we are deeply thankful for each one of you.

Congratulations to Seth and Estella
Crossroads Family Ministries gave 2 $500.00 scholarships away in May, 2025. An anonymous donor gave Crossroads this $1000 gift with the intention of giving the ministry the opportunity to encourage the youth in our community with Pro-Life values and honoring healthy relationships. The pool of young teens in which we chose came from our annual Teen Girls’ Retreat and our annual Young Men’s Advance. These weekend events have the purpose of inspiring our youth to strengthen their relationship with the Lord and have healthy, Godly relationships with others. Cornerstone Academy of the Ozarks High School Senior, Seth Spencer and Homeschool High School Senior, Estella Fisher were the recipients of the first of hopefully many more, Crossroads Family Ministries Pro Life Scholarships. These 2 teens exemplify the Pro-Life qualities Crossroads wants to encourage in our community. Both teens wrote an essay on why they are pro-life and also had an interview process. The standard is definitely set at a high level with these 2 being the first to receive this award. The Crossroads Board of Directors wishes both a grand future of honoring God with their lives, values, and resources.
Congratulations to Seth and Estella

Purpose Statement for Teen Weekend Retreats/Advances
Crossroads Teen Weekend Retreats/Advances Purpose: To invest in the youth of our community by instilling Biblical values regarding purity. The emphasis will be on the gospel since we know this is the root to all sanctification. Model for these events: Gospel presentation, Biblical teaching on salvation and sanctification with an emphasis on sexual purity, and providing an environment to form lasting relationships encouraging one another in their relationship with the Lord. Teen Girls Retreat consist of women leaders teaching the young women Biblical Womanhood. Teaching them to be reverent, have self-control, be pure, and show humility. (Titus 2:3-5) Teen Boys Advance consist of men teaching the young men Biblical Manhood. Teaching them to have courage, integrity, self-control, respect, loyalty, and humility (Titus 2:1-2) We have especially seen the need for this teaching due to the crisis of Manhood in our nation. Our goal is to teach these young men to be Godly MEN. Sanctity of Human Life will also be a topic discussed at these events with a scholarship opportunity each year for 1 boy and 1 girl. The scholarships will be given to a recipient that expresses strong pro-life values and sees the importance of their boldness on the Sanctity of Life.
